I'm definitely seeing frame overlap, ghosting, etc. But honestly, fairly happy for the money. If they can fix the pressure plate/overlap thing I think it'll sell well.
The main issue for me is the viewfinder not being super accurate, but... show me a film P&S where it is.

Great samples!
I don’t mind the flare and ghosting much - adds to the vibe 😉
Did you feel like the viewfinder made you miss focus? My main gripe with it is that it’s quite sensitive to where you position your eye. Sometimes I’m not really sure if the AF point is pointing where I think it’s pointing.
Sent my film to the lab yesterday, but the only re-open on Monday and then there’s a bank holiday on Tuesday. I think it will be 2 weeks or so until I have my film back 😭
I don’t think I missed focus much, but a lot of the compositions aren’t quite what I intended. To an extent that’s fixable in post, but yeah…

I’m impressed you remember your compositions.
By the time I develop my film, I don’t even remember what I took.
Thanks for posting a variety of images using both color and B&W film. The lens flare has a taken with a P&S vibe and adds to the image. It also points to Lomo having a lens hood available in the near future. Once the issues with spacing and stiffening the pressure plate are resolved, this should set the standard.
It also makes me realize how much knowledge has been lost in the quarter century since any new film cameras have come to the market and the difficulties manufacturing an all new camera design.

Indeed. Leica forgot how to make cameras that don't scratch film - even though they have been making them continuosly!
Hmm, only Hashem's review being an 'official' one is telling. Lomo must have requested the others who have been sent review units to not publish until they fix the camera.
He lives very near me and I have yet to run into him.
At any rate, yeah, starting to thing mine is actually one of the better made ones because I am not experiencing half the issues people are having. After loading it's easy enough to look at the bottom winder and see if it's moving like I would any camera.

Yeah not sure why he didn’t do that to check if it was loaded properly.
Then again, maybe needed the drama..
I disagree w his complaint about the camera always shooting near 2.8 when in P mode. That is where the lens gives its Lomo look - heavy vignette and soft corners. Most People want that signature Lomo look.
And if you decide you want ‘normal’, just select your own aperture.
I wonder if Lomo will announce that they have sorted the film spacing issue, or are we just expected to wait until enough reviews have appeared that don't mention it? It looks like a potentially great camera and I'm keen to buy, but Lomo's silence is not inspiring much confidence.
