I jumped on the same Z30+16-50 deal when it came up end of August. Well worth it! You are essentially getting the 16-50 for $50.
And worth noting the 12-28 DX is just $215 on sale right now (also same price as August). This makes a killer "hike around" lens of 18-42 equivalent for things like canyon or river walks.
In case it doesn't appear in their list, here is the direct link for the 12-28 refurb:

Z5 II for $1223 and completely out of stock. Makes sense
It will come back in stock at some point if you're patient. I see this as setting the price for the used market. Why would I buy a "New" used Z5 ii for $1500 when I can get a refurbished for $1360 or less when a refurb sale is going on.

Warranty purposes and some simply don't like a refurbished product.
He's saying a 'like new' used Z5 II at $1500 (new is $1800), vs a refurb at $1300 ish. The refurb would have a 6 month warranty vs none for the used sale. There's really nothing to think about there.

I get why people like shiny new objects. I have bought a lot of refurbished apple products without issue so I do not have that hesitation. If someone is worried they could get a Nikon 3 Year accident plus for an additional $170. So at todays refurbished deal pricing for $1400 dollars plus tax you could get a Z5 II with 3 years of accident plus insurance. Now for any one looking they just need to come back in stock.
Anyone ever get a refurbished Zf other than in black? It’s not like you can choose the color. Are the black/black the only ones that break? i havent seen any sepia brown or blue.. weird

The silver Zf has only very recently been released and frankly they’ve probably only sold a very small number of them.
Every time these crazy deals come up on the Z5 II, I think about swapping my Z6 III for it. There are things on the Z6 III I really like that the Z5 II doesn't have (the ability to use electronic shutter in most situations and not worry about rolling shutter or even generally banding, the better EVF, etc....), but it still is a draw. I will hold off once again.

The Z5 II must be eating into Z6 sales. To me it doesn't feel like a beginner camera anymore (the way original Z5 felt). Both these bodies are in my cart... Still going back and forth.
