I finally got to visit the Pantanal region and put myself to the test for photographing the wildlife and birds there. Quite exciting and challenging, but I had some success. Too many keepers! Here's a sampling with names I researched, but corrections are welcome.

A large Iguana of some kind

Green Rufous Kingfisher

A Jabiru Mom with three chicks.

Jaguar, the apex predator.

A pair of juvenile Striated Herons.

The ever present Caiman.

Ocelot.

Toucan.
