I got a short window with a Cooper's Hawk down on some partially submerged logs in the pond. The surprise was how close the Wood Ducks came to the hawk wary but still within about at 3 feet sometimes. A couple of times the hawk would fly to another perch and if there was a duck on the perch it would dive into the water immediately, but the ducks in the water seemed to ignore it for the most part.
