I'll come "clean" on the backgrounds, no pun intended I bought an AK diffuser to use for macro work. Still struggling with that. It works great but is very clunky. Anyways, it came with a bunch of 6x9 colored cards that you can place behind your subject. First time I've ever tried something like that and I like the effect.

Regardless, I still like the backgrounds. I will often use a piece of black velvet to isolate the flower. I think the colored backgrounds work very well.
