What a trip. Just about everything that could go wrong did go wrong. In the end it erupted, somewhat half heartedly, during the day - and what's worse, after an entire week without rain, it started to rain just as eruption started. As photographers you know what it is like to shoot thru over a mile of rain. This is from the very beginning, when it was more of a drizzle. Things got worse from here.

Thank You Pete. I'm like everybody else, last night was amazing. I've seen so many stunning images posted everywhere. That's the first time I have ever seen them from my house. I hope you were able to see the light show last night !
