I got this thinking of turning it into a NAS system. I never did get around to it.

This system has:
Intel i5 processor
2x 250gb internal SATA SSDs
6gb of RAM.
Both SSDs and RAM can be upgraded fairly inexpensively.

I did a clean install of macOS Catalina� the last OS Apple approved on this Mac. You can run newer OS's by using OCLP (Open Core Legacy Patcher).

The MacMini is in very good physical shape (small scratch near the Apple logo, hardly visible) and runs fine.

This sale is for the MacMini, stand, and power cable. If you need a keyboard and mouse, I can throw in USB ones (non Apple). No monitor.

Price is $90.00 total...includes shipping to CONUS.

These are great running Linux Mint. I use mine for a file share. I use a second one for a Plex server. Going on two years of uptime. GLWS!

You're right... I moved the NAS function to file sharing on my M4 Mac mini that I also use to print images. Plenty of power to handle both the printing and archiving. The older Intels runs Truenas fine... I just really don't need a NAS. The file sharing handles the archiving fine (even handles the raid in software).
