The realm of Hekla in South Iceland bears the fire and fury of an active volcano. Ash and ice draw their shifting lines, ridges unfold in austere geometry, and lone peaks stand as sentinels before this active volcanic ridge. To wander here is to read an epic inscribed in stone and flame.
