Last week I spent a few days out on the brown bear coast and it was incredible. It was overcast 98% of the trip so not much light to work with and often times in late evening we were pushing 6400-10,000 ISO but I went with my gut and took the 600 over the 400 and I'm glad I did.
Thanks for sharing a very enjoyable set. Nice (and jealous) to see there were some cubs, as we didn't see any during my July 2024 trip to Lake Clark (Silver Salmon Creek).

We had one set this year, which was fun. I was more interested in the larger adults ha!

These are great ! Nice clean, low angle, lots to love here. Sorry to hear about the light, but still some super images. I'm envious
This is a wonderful set of images, like the others I, I love the low angles and clean looks. My favorite is #1 & #2..I went up to Hallo in June and we got a lot of bright clear sky’s with harsh light so I had wished for a little more overcast lighting, so you never know.

Thanks Dave! I think I'd much prefer the overcast look to what much of the summer would provide with harsh light! Downside is that the overcast plus a marine layer obscures the mountain backdrops and its like a double layer of diffusion. I'm quite happy with what I got though!

An excellent set of images!
You say the light was difficult, but it looks good in these images.
As others have commented, the low angles are very well done.
