I pulled my fisheye lens out a few days ago after sitting idle for years to take a few pictures. I'm not sure if anyone even has a fisheye in their kit anymore. She was asleep on the raft and did not know that I took this picture.
I too love the result. I had a fisheye lens for a camera that is now 25 years old. It still works, but the lens is a different size and brand than what I'm using today. But you have made me interested in getting it out and either using it with the old camera, or maybe adapting it to one of my present cameras. Thanks for the nostalgia. Something old, but new to try again. Something is telling me that this will likely get me to buy yet another lens for my newer cameras.
