The US Navy Blue Angels performed at the last Reno Air Show last year. Sadly, the Reno National Championship Air Races has moved to New Mexico. I will miss hearing the vintage aircraft and all of the other planes during that week of the best motorsport racing in the world. Differing light during the 45 minute show with intermittent clouds and changing of direction was a challenge. These were shot with the Canon R6Mii and Canon RF100-500 lens. I think the equipment did ok, but I did forget to change the lens to IS mode 2 which is better for panning. They flew right over our house so it was hard to keep up with them and get solid close up shots.
