Nature has reclaimed this old truck and time and weather have worn away its paint, but this old Ford truck remains rooted in the field like a monument to another era. Captured in the fading light of day, its rusted frame tells stories of work, roads traveled, and time long gone.

The side lit p/up is fantastic Scott!!!! Great sky! I can feel the sun's glow on my right shoulder.

Thank you Dan! You are so right, this was the very last of golden hour and moments later the sun dipped behind a row of trees. The light really brought that old truck to life.

Awesome shot! This was my vision for this weeks assignment but didn't come across anything that cool.
Haha, thanks so much Scott! I figured I’d end up with tumbleweeds, cow pies and regrets, but this old truck made my day and gave me inspiration. When I saw the way the late afternoon light lit the scene, the drama in the sky and rusty textures I knew I had to shoot this in B&W for this week's challenge.
