I am the original owner of this lens. Bought it in 2015 from Adorama with a full USA warranty
This is the sharpest lens I own. Selling because I am no longer using it.
Comes with the accessories shown (which are all that were supplied with the lens when it was new).
The lens is in immaculate condition……always treated with extreme care, used very infrequently, by me only.
Glass is crystal clear……no haze, fungus, cloudiness, scratches. I can see one small, thin spec of dust as I look through the back of the lens. You can count on this lens to provide bright, sharp, contrasty images.
I inspected thoroughly and can't find any scratches or missing paint on the lens and hood.
I recommend listening to to one of Jan Wegener’s videos that discusses buying used long lenses for nature photography. In this video you can hear from Jan’s own experience how the 600mm EF IS II version, the version I am selling, ranks in terms of image quality to Canon’s other versions of this lens (see at 11:30 in the video).
