A few years ago, I helped my son move to San Francisco. His new place offered the perfect opportunity to capture the iconic Bay Bridge at sunset, just a five-minute walk across from his doorstep. Instead of a standard wide-angle lens, I decided to use my TS 24mm lens to create a three-shot panorama. Here's the image I captured. I welcome all comments and critiques!
This is a most excellent composition brother! Just beautiful!
Must admit when I saw "Bay Bridge" I thought it was our Chesapeake Bay Bridge to be displayed!
Yours has much more character!!
Again SUPER!

Damn, that is a very fine shot. I imagine the file is good enough to print very large. That motion in the sky is outstanding.
Hopefully your son takes advantage of his location and produce some good images of his own.
Cheers,
DC
Thanks Dan, I sent the file to my son and in one minute I had a response saying Yes! Now I need to figure out how to get a darn file printed! I really lucked out with some cloud cover and some colors.
Unfortunately, he is not into photography.......maybe when he get to be an old fart like me

At this size, it looks fantastic. if it does pixel peeping, print it large and find a wall...
Appreciate you checking it out. The TS lens is absolutely amazing, only downside for me is it takes to too long to do my setup on that lens. but when you get it right, the image is just amazing.

Thanks Doug, me too but I was not sure how it was going to look. I should have tried a BW version. Maybe will tinker with it.

The bay bridge at sunset is a stunning subject, and using Ts24mm lens for a three short panorama must have added a unique perspective
I agree, Bay Bridge is always a pleasure to photograph. Actually that whole are is very photo rich. This lens is really amazing. My only issue with using TS lens is that it takes me too long to setup and if my wife is with me then its an added pressure to hurry

For years I’ve taken CalTrain up to the City very early in the morning to photograph sunrise and then wander along the Embarcadero and into other parts of the City, and this view always catches my eye.
It also reminds me that I haven’t done one of those SF days in a long time, and I need to again!
