I am over the moon..I saw 3 Piping Plover babies...OMG!! I had almost given up. I was walking towards the exit and I saw something move, I went wide and sat down and waited..Then the magic happened.
This is my first time seeing them in person. They are so tiny and seeing them was another bucket list shot for me!!

Beauties Tammy! Great use of rim light for the last few. The first and 3rd from the last are my picks as I love the interaction. It's amazing that they have adult like markings at such a young age. They nest here as well yet I've never gotten close enough to get photos like this.

I went down to that area last year or so. Where I was, there were far too many people (for me ) and it was impossible to find a parking spot. I turned and left. Glad you found a quiet spot.
I am guessing that the little Plovers are getting sufficient protection. Is that true we hope?
