The Leica APO-Summicron-M 90mm f/2 ASPH (Latest 6-bit coded) is in excellent condition, perfectly centered, and rangefinder aligned with no issues. This is a newer 6-bit coded version. There is no oil on the blades and no visible dust inside. Perfect glass.
I wish I had found lenses like this back when I was searching. It took a lot of trial and error to track down well-centered and properly aligned copies. I'm letting it go as part of a long-overdue downsizing...my collection's been feeling a bit heavy lately.
I usually rate used gear as "9+" unless noted otherwise. That means it's not brand new but pretty much in excellent condition. This one comes with its original box (including the gray outer box) and all original accessories.
This copy is a bit special. I used it as a reference to calibrate my M bodies and lenses, so I know it's perfectly aligned. That really matters with a 90mm. It's also 100% centered. When stopped down to f/4 or more, it performs on par with the newer 90mm APO SL. (even better at the corners)
