I mean...this is better than how Sony dealt with the failing mechanical shutters of their A7III and IV cameras. Also Nikon did a recall on the D600 and offered to fix the things for years, for free. gyoung143 wrote:
They spent a long time I denial that there was a problem Eventually redesigned the shutter (model D601 came with new shutter if I remember correctly) But took a lot of convincing.

I seem to remember problems with shutter shock with the original Sony A7R which made tripod use probe,atic. Never acknowledged as I remember.
And we won't mention the M9 sensor shambles.....
Didn't they have strap lug issues too? And scratching film on the retro M6.
Was the M9 the camera with a sensor that would rust? Basically what this is boiling down to is that none of these manufacturers are perfect. gyoung143 wrote:
