I assume this is the Blessed Mother Peire because of the halo. One usually never thinks about her as a "naturalist". Ft Francis of Assisi is the Patron Saint of All Creatures except humans!

Thank you Daniel.Being a medical doctor myself I have good understanding of St Francis's attitude.People are often disappointment.
This Blessed Mary is painted in the manner of an Orthodox icon in a way that emphasizes the importance of delicacy, respect for fragility, and silence. I really like the works of this author. There are quite many of them and they are all unique. Yet he/she has never shown himself in public so far.
