I spent 10 days in Ecuador at the start of April for bird photography. Processing the photos has been a bit slow since I’ve also been dabbling in video, and learning how to edit it has taken up a lot of my free time. Here are 12 of the many images I captured.
Thanks for looking.

These are spectacular! How did you get so close to the birds? I was in Ecuador last year, and the only birds we got close to, with a few exceptions, were birds at feeders.
Excellent varied set Jason. I've been dabbling in video a bit as well. I agree that editing is very time consuming. I used to do sports and theater on real to real tape. My cuts and splices were real :-} Doing it on computer is not much faster.

Thanks Steve. 1/2 of these images were taken at feeders. The other 1/2 are of birds that don't come to feeders. I would have had no chance of finding the birds without a guide. You messaged me last year before your trip with the same questions. My answer remains unchanged, to get the most from trip like this a guide is very important.

Thanks Morris. I love learning new things and I've just touched the surface of video. So much to learn and practice.
