This is going to be my conundrum. Do I continue to carry the 28-70 as well as the 50-150 or do I get something like a 24-50 f2.8 (or I could use my 20-70). My initial thought is to continue with the 28-70 and see if maybe a 20-50 f2 appears, which would be ideal. Mostly 28 is wide enough as I’m more likely to stitch to get wider than I am to use an ultra wide.
I’ll get by without the TC’s but it is disappointing. Maybe on the version 2?
As much as I like lenses like this I do find building a travel kit around them a challenge. Either heaps of overlap or big gaps….

For me, I will bring all 3. 12-24, 28-70,and 50-150. Have the 12-24 out along with either of the other 2. Then, the rest depends on the type of trip. Macro for insects/plants, 300 for wildlife/birds. Etc.
