As I said, I am familiar with this phenomenon (so it doesn't need to be described to me in detail), and I haven't encountered it even once with the Sony A7 IV so far.
I like the look of black glossy paint of M11.
Do you think M12 will bring IBIS?
How is it to use IBIS-less camera? I never had Leica before...

I have been shooting Sony for over a decade and added the M11 recently. I honestly dont miss IBIS a whole lot, because at 60mp, you need a pretty fast shutter speed to minimize blur from just subject movement, particularly when shooting people. My minimum shutter speed on either camera defaults to 1/125s (i mainly shoot (A/V). When I'm shooting landscapes its usually in pretty good light where I get a decently fast shutter speed at small aperture and iso100. Where IBIS is useful is when shooting at small aperture in low light. If you do a lot of that, lack of IBIS will matter, but its a niche use case for me
I had a chance to test out an EV1. I really wanted to like it, because I have a lot of LTM lenses where they aren't quite calibrated for M bodies, so focus is slightly off unless I use live view of some type. Problem is, I only shoot an M9 and MD-262, both of which I love.
I found the EVF to be underwhelming. Echoing other comments, a mostly "ok" experience with lag and some flickering especially when punching in for magnification. I kept double-checking my focus attempts against actual distance, and found myself largely off. Photos tended to look great despite feeling like I was never quite sure how they were going to come out.
A plus was that it didn't seem to have the purple fringing for my wide angled 15mm Voigtlander Heliar LTM, a nice bonus. And then another downside was that my settings seemed to keep changing which seemed to be an issue with the default profile. It's odd to setup your camera one way and then they change at some point, but likely also user error.
Returning to a very nice OVF of my other Ms was often a breath of fresh air. I do tend to be picky about my EVFs though. I do still want to like the M-EV1, because at the end of the day the form factor and size is great. Though I do prefer the fat-bodied M9 and 262 and can easily handle them for hours without any accessories.

The camera settings can be confusing. Start with the Default settings and configure to the settings you prefer. Then save them as a custom User setting. The Default settings cannot be changed or overwritten so the changes you made will be lost otherwise.
The more I use my EV1's the more I am happy I switched. I see some say they use Focus peaking, but to me it is a bit too general when I want specific focus points to be in focus and now have just stopped using FP all togather.
It seems mag focus is getting faster and faster for me. I also like the half press simulation of the image which if you set your result to match your computer monitor is very accurate-which I learned from Overgaard's comments.
