Last week made my first trip to photograph Bluebirds, a bit early but still found some very active Mountain Bluebirds. Didn't see any Western Bluebirds, but again it's early they will be there. Here's a little of what I shot on this very cold and somewhat snowy morning.
Such a stunning blue! Great collection Louie, #1 is very pretty, #2 a sweet pose. The last a nice look at the gradations of the blue coloring. These are sweet my friend
I love the eastern and western bluebirds Louie but having never seen a mountain bluebird, these guys are beautiful and you got some great captures. I see your getting some great results with that 300 + 2x TC, looks like a real winner paired with the 600f4. So much easier to track birds in flight.

Much appreciated Gary, my favorite is the Mountain Bluebird as well, the Western Bluebirds are pretty all right but the Mountain tops them in my book.
