Fort Frederick barracks window reflection looking across the Parade Field..The "waviness" in the glass was a product of glassmaking in the 1700's-1800's. It was caused by the glass blower. Major George Washington of the British army stopped here on his way to Ft Dusquene(Pittsburgh) in the French and Indian War.
IT was unusual Scott this composition......Fort Frederick is a great place to just wonder around in. A huge fort! Beautiful stone walls with both original barracks still in tack. I didn't want to come home empty handed.
