I was in Ladner yesterday photographing the shorties and harriers....oh boy was it foggy!! My Dehaze slider got a workout processing these
Geoff, another tremendous series. I'm curious if you don't mind, how far away are the owls? I showed them to my wife, who is my spotter when out looking for them, and she was amazed. Crowds now gather at our spot and walk around, believing they can get close to them so mine are often large crops.

Some days I only get them flying at some distance. Yesterday in the fog we had a few of them come so close the wings were cut off in the 600mm frame.
There are probably 20+ owls in this field as I've seen up to 7 in the air at one time.
Days I've gone there are 5-15 photogs in the field but the field is very large. Some people spend their day trying to walk closer to where they see the action or see one perch. I try to just pick my spot and wait for them to come to me. Maybe changing my spot a few times during the day if I see a trend to where they are hunting. The perched one in that last set just landed right behind me...maybe 40ft away. It was a pretty tame one.

Man, looking at those wonderful owl images posted by Geoff @arbitrage and Pius @Pius Sullivan, made me miss the good old days of borrowing owls shooting locally even more so...☹️😞.

Also a good idea to move away from the crowd so everyone's photos don't look the same, pick your spots and backgrounds...
