A great set of images Louie, it’s like you reside in a wildlife refuge. It seems that is a great combo, 600f4 +1.4 TC and the new 300f2.8 +2xTC for a great handhold option.
Birdie
Much appreciated Birdie.

Super cool action set! I find the different beak shapes interesting, like the blunter, more squared off mature eagle left side in 3, and the damaged and healed funny one on right in 5, you know there had to be a story there. So much going on and so much to see! Fun stuff.
Eric
Thanks very much Eric. I was hoping someone would recognize the damaged beak on the one eagle.
When you saw the action in that field, you were prepared and you documented it. Congratulations!
Yes, I believe the 300 2.8 2X is a smart option with any of the manufacturers. I’ve tested it with a few Nikon 300 2.8’s and the combination is sharp, light and fast.
Thank you to everyone, I feel honored to have been voted the Featured Thread of the week given the number of outstanding photographers that are on this forum. Very much appreciated.
