PETA not gonna like that either.....
As I understand this "Mich" the ONLY fault PETA has with "Groundhog Day is this published remark..:
"PETA suggests 'weather reveal' cake to replace famous groundhog Punxsutawney Phil's treat"
Now maybe Bill Murray has another viewpoint...? I don't know him!
Phil's lives in a beautiful home in the library(to our right) behind the "Mayor". He is well cared for and treated with respect. People can visit him any time the library is open.
Should he be returned to his natural environment? I say yes..leave the poor creature to himself! But who am I?? This is a mega bucks event for this very small town of Punxsatawney.
Personally I wished Phil would bite the heck out that " top-hated clown's hand" as he swirls Phil around to the crowd!
Just my $.02!
Thanks!

Yeah it is this time of the year Bill..To those who remember these posts..your mind is fine! To those who don't..it's no joke! To those that yet to see..here ya be!
Dan
I had no idea that Fred was moonlighting as a weather forecaster. He definitely is a snappy dresser.
While I pay very little attention to this yearly circus, I must admit that I admire (for lack of a better term) those that have created this exceptionally lucrative stunt.
