This male Northern Shoveler had taken off from the small part of Oakland Lake that dose not freeze as it's spring fead by 55f water. I caught in an opening between some bushes and trees. The background is out of focus Phragmites.

Thank you Gero. People have been upping the recommended shutter speed for flight photography now that we have sensors that allow for much higher ISO. Sometimes I like to go slower and how more wing blur.
