Yep, only one camera for about 25 years. Hey, I think I get the prize for the shortest list!
Actually, I sort of "re-discovered" photography only about a year ago. Much of the intervening time I haven't been too active with the hobby. But this go-around is very different and I'm getting very excited about wildlife photography in particular. My hope is to move up to a 20D soon. I have to laugh at all the posts about the joys of low-noise images, immediate feedback from digital and so forth - I'm going to be thrilled just to have auto-focus!
As I get ready for the big switch I'm spending most of my time working on my technique and trying to become a better photographer - after all, it's not just about the equipment. But one nice aspect of operating in the FD lens world is the relatively low cost compared to EF. For example, I purchased a used FD 300/2.8 for a little over $700 from KEH. This has been a fantastic lens for me! Frankly, it's only the high cost of the EF telephotos which is holding me back from jumping into digital at the moment.
