Mystical quality, love the touch of fall color. Like others said, print worthy for sure.
Thanks Jim, that means a lot. Banff is a really beautiful place!!! Planning a winter trip for Yosemite at the end of January, hope to find some good reflection shots there.
Congrats on the win, it’s a great image! One thing I was curious about: the GFX cameras have a lot of dynamic range, so I was surprised to see the highlights blown out in the sky on top left (especially since that area is beautifully reproduced in the corresponding reflection) - was that an aesthetic decision on your part during post-processing, and the original RAW file does not have blown highlights?

To be really honest, this was a JPEG that I spent about 10 minutes of post on......I am aware of what you are talking about, and I thought about going back in with the usual post-processing of a RAW file, but I kinda liked this look, so just went with it.

Ok, I understand what you’re saying, I probably notice those things more because I tend to be really picky Regardless, you made a beautiful image!

No worries Ross, I understand what you are saying, and I don't mind polite critique at all.....it's one way we all get better at this.......I am retiring in a couple of months and I'm contemplating setting up a website to maybe sell pictures online, still not sure I have the chops for it, but we'll see. If this one went for sale, I would definitely go back in and correct the over-exposure on the clouds.

Congrats on your upcoming retirement! I imagine you will be enjoying great photography trips.
