p.1 #1 · Milky Way over Loch Na Kael, Isle of Mull.
This was taken to Loch Na Kael on the Isle of Mull. I unfortunately forgot to pack my tripod before travelling to Mull so this is a composite of a hand-held shot for the foreground and a shot of the Milky Way where the camera was propped up on my camera backpack. Not perfect conditions but I'm quite pleased with the end result. Let me know what you think please.

Both the foreground and Milky Way were initially processed in Lightroom then brought together in Photoshop. Hope this helps.

I really love this composition. The reflection within those leading lines really does it for me in my book. Nice work on bringing all of these elements together.

Thanks Daniel, your comment is much appreciated. It was a difficult one to pull off as I didn’t have my tripod with me, but I’m pleased with the final outcome. I came upon the small pool purely by accident as I was walking along the shore whilst walking my dog earlier in the day. Luckily I had parked my trusty campervan nearby and came back later on.
