Anyone else looking forward to returning to Bosque del Apache in a couple of months? I try to make the trip in November and sometimes in January. With the annual trip just around the corner, I'm anxious to go, and I wanted to share some shots from previous outings. Bosque is a great place to capture tons of shots if you've never been, I highly recommend planning a visit if you enjoy wildlife and fall colors.
Great shots from a wonderful place to shoot or just enjoy the wildlife and scenery! These really bring back memories of the several times we were there. There is always something to see while driving the loop roads!

Thank you, John. If you haven't made a trip, it's worth it. There's always something to photograph and the place is easy travel around, the roads are well maintained.

Great set, you've certainly captured a good share of what Bosque has to offer the photographer. I'll be there in early December for a week.
Thank you. Have fun on your trip, the birds should be plentiful, lots to photograph.

Glad you enjoyed your trip. I have tried to narrow down the shots over the years, there's so many opportunities and you can definitely shoot thousands and thousands of photos.

Thank you, Morris. It's worth the trip! Tons and tons of wildlife to photograph and in November the fall colors really help the scenes. The Festival of the Cranes kicks off the second week of December, I've never attended but I've heard it's worth checking out. The preserve is easy to navigate around, it's all setup as loops with well maintained dirt roads.

Thank you, Art. It's a great place for sure, lots to see and photograph.
Great images showing some of the best of Bosque. I am thinking of making my way back to Bosque after two years off following my Brother MIke passing away from covid. We made it an annual trip for many years. Bruce
