Well, I've been following this nest from conception to the chick fledging a week ago, what a journey to have watched the building of the nest, to sitting on eggs to finally watching the chick take its first flight. The nest started out with two chick but as so often happens only one chick survived, not sure what happened just one day there was only one chick in the nest. This is a great set Louie .Real nice documentation of the nest. I love your perspective of the nest being eye level, that’s really nice.it,s super fun to watch these guys fledge and learn to hunt. I love watching a juvenile just beginning to learn how to dive into the water for fish. It, is interesting to watch the little one go from calling door dash for dinner to catching his own.
