After spending almost eight hours on the midway at a county fair with my grandson and his buddy yesterday, I needed some alone time. On my belly in the muck and the mire
Thanks for taking a look !

I am curious on how you are focusing, with magnification I assume?
I voted Gary, I am impressed with your eye detailing on this set, they are truly outstanding!
Outstanding series, beautiful comps and presentation

Really appreciate it Karl.
You'll probably be disappointed to learn I let the camera do all the work No fancy stuff. Single point AF and shoot. This little camera is really amazing. Of course it will miss here and there but it does better than my old eyes and slow reflexes. Some of these are focus stacked and that's done in camera also. Handheld. A tripod would yield better results but it's just not feasible to use one for these little guys. You've got a good eye so you've probably already spotted some ghosting where there was some camera movement during the in camera stacks. But I'm usually laying on my stomach waiting for something to land close enough so I can use my elbows as a tripod and it gets the job done.

Excellent series, Gary!
They all look great to me. I looked at each one pretty hard, and don't see the 'ghosting' you mentioned to Karl. But then, my eyes are the best these days -- and my hearing is much worse.
The hand held in-camera focus stacking of the OM-1 is almost magic.

In #8 Greg. It looks to me like the effect of camera movement. Not a big deal though.
Yeah, the hearing issue is really affecting me. I've lost about 70 % and even with hearing aides it's very frustrating.
This system is proving to be the best I've ever used for these types of shots. I thought I'd regret selling off my Nikon 200 micro but not so much
Appreciate the input !
