The Joro Spider is an invasive species. They are ALL OVER the place here in Georgia mountains. They build these large sometimes multi -layered webs. While they are poisonous , thankfully they are not aggressive and are quite shy. This one web I photographed had 6 or 7 of these spiders of different sizes inhabiting it.
I tried to find a web without a spider without any success.
