After 10+ years using mostly Sony, I've made the jump. Here's a small handful of shots from my first time out with the R5II + RF 24-105 F4 L. I think I took more video than photos.
Really love the video implementation in this thing. The low light performance feels like it's still a little behind in comparison to my experience with Sony, but only when really pushing the ISO. And it's still extremely useable, especially with C-Log. In every other way related to video, this feels steps ahead.
Definitely have a lot of things figure out / get used to after switching (especially the AF) - but I'm very excited to continue getting familiar with it. This thing is like a spaceship.
Well, after a full day at the races I can say I'm impressed. Animal tracking locked onto the horses head and ignored other objects, even in tight quarters with many people around. It even ignored people entirely when there were no animals in the frame.
My first shoot with the R5II. I only have one Canon lens for it, my 200-400 f4 from my DSLR days. Took me a while to get it setup for wildlife, but the improved tracking and autofocus is excellent. A Great Egret at my local bird pond.

BTW, is there anyone who doesn't shoot 99% cRAW anymore?
YES! Me! Why? Don't really know other that it was not "raw".
I may have imagined some "editing" of a raw file as I understood it to be..raw....with anything but raw.
I had NOT read this thread and I have been shooting raw for 20+ years!
Go figure!
