One more, AF with the R5m II just doesn't miss ,and so fast. Blazing fast.
With pre-capture I have so many shots and in focus it is mind blowing.
Even with these old EF lenses it is accurate, blazing fast, and spot on.
Did I say blazing fast!
Only major problem I had. Birds with vertical grass close to them. The AF would not hit the bird. Even when I switched to spot it sturggled to find the eye. And when I went to larger area it was a disaster.

This shot was a total miss with the AF, I had to finally hit spot AF and go to old school focus habits. But, now that I know it is not a problem. For some reason the grass in the background played havoc with the AF. You would think with the bird in clear view and the eye open with no objects in the way the AF would pick up the eye or even the bird. But, it could not. The AF system was completely useless.
