A portrait I took of a friend today. I was initially photographing someone else and hadn't planned on taking any photos of Armand, but this unplanned shot turned out to be my favorite of the day. Maybe a little lucky that the shoot I was already doing was hair focused.
Canon 5D MKIII, Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 lens. Lit using a Profoto D2 with a 4 ft octagon softbox.

Yes, that's why I said it was lucky that the shoot was already hair focused. I already had everything set up to maximize hair volume, and he has quite a lot of hair.
