Last weekend my oldest daughter was married in a beautiful ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi in Lake Tahoe, NV. To say I was a proud father is an understatement. I spent more time drying my eyes than I care to admit. She and her now husband chose the date of their wedding as it is just a few days after her mother's and my wedding anniversary. She also walked down the aisle to Pachebel's Canon in D, the same song her mother walked to marry me. Again, dad is drying his eyes...
They of course had a full time photographer shooting the event but I was able to grab a couple shots. I did not want to interfere with their paid photographer so I truly grabbed these over the photographers shoulder.
Thank you FM community for looking for allowing me to share.

I had a friend tell me that walking his daughter down the church aisle was both the hardest thing he ever did and the proudest day of his life.
I cried when both my sons were married. I'm crying right now because I miss them so much.
Your friend nailed it. One of the hardest things to do at one of my proudest moments.
