I’m pretty conflicted about selling this tripod, as I really love it. But I have three RRS tripods and really only need two…one big beast of a tripod for heavy gear and strong winds, and one super light one for travel and backpacking. This tripod falls right in the middle of those for me and in theory I could get rid of the other two and just use this one since it is light enough for travel but strong enough for high winds. However, that’s not the direction I am going to go. But if you don’t have an RRS tripod yet, or are looking for a single perfect carbon fiber tripod, then this is a great buy. I’ve traveled with it some, so it shows minimal wear from that travel (everything works perfectly, as it should).
This is the “L” version, which is the taller version. I am tall (6’3”) and when this is extended fully it is really tall (the ball head is at my eyeline, when fully extended). It extends to 66.4 inches tall…great for a tall photographer.
Minimum height is 4 inches, folded length is 23.3 inches.
The ball head is in excellent shape and works perfectly. It is the ARC-LR Lever release model, which provides a very stable platform and easy adjustment for professional cameras.
These tripods and ball head combos are expensive, but they are worth it! I was always of the mindset that you buy once, but buy quality and it has always worked for me. In my opinion, there is no better tripod than a Really Right Stuff tripod. If you know, you know.

I really haven’t used this Pano Gimbal much even though it is an amazing piece of equipment. I thought I’d do more pano’s when I bought this, but I find myself wanting to carry less and less gear into the field. When I have used it, it was as a gimbal while shooting wildlife (it was amazing for that). If you are into pano’s (or just shooting wildlife on a gimbal), then this is a great piece of equipment. Anything really Right Stuff is fantastic, though.

Up for sale is a Really Right Stuff Universal and Versa Series 2 Leveling Base with clamp
This is a great leveling base for RRS tripods. It makes getting a very level camera on uneven ground super easy. This comes with the clamp as well as the leveling base. I bought this new from Really Right Stuff with the intention of putting it on a tripod, but I decided to sell that tripod (see other listing) so I need to sell this as well.
