Well, I've been stricken with Covid over the past couple of days. Today, I finally feel more like myself and I had an itchy trigger finger. I ventured to local garden that was nearly free of people.

All these images are taken with the Laowa 17/4 which I am growing to love on the GFX 100S II. I need to shoot it more . . .

Thank you! The Mitakon is perfect for portraiture and if you're at all interested I wouldn't hesitate.

Thanks again.

Peter.

These images use the Zeiss Contax 50/1.7 adapted to my GFX 100s II. While there is some vignetting, I find that buy changing the format to 3:2 or 16:9 removes most if not all signs of vignette. I do this in camera rather than in post. It does force me to shoot RAW+Jpeg but the RAW image retains the 'as shot' framing so I then discard the jpegs. Of course, going into crop mode in LR, you can see the in camera crop and if desired, remove it to the full format of the GFX. I kinda like this approach vs cropping in post.

These are sharp, crisp and toned perfectly Bob! Sorry you have CV. Bummer!
Now do you have a YT video on setting up my 100sii very simply? I have had mine 7 months and I am still very stumped in its operations.
I am going to set it up for "M" and just set my Av, ISO, SS only.
Again most excellent compositions.

Just beautiful Peire! That 500 has such a "creamy" bokeh!

Might I inquire do you hand hold for these images?

Thanks Dan. I can tell you how mine is setup. I tend to shoot in Aperture priority mode with Auto ISO. This defaults to a shutter speed of roughly 1/focal length but at times I might change that to be faster. My custom buttons are set as follows.

The forward button on the top plate I have set for zooming in which I use when shooting MF lenses.
The rear button on the top plate is set to default
The exposure comp button next to the shutter I remapped to Fuji simulations.
The Drive button is set to default.
The AEL button is set to default.
The back dial next to the AF-On button is set to exposure compensation.

My Custom settings are as follows:

C1: is set up for tripod shooting (IBIS off, 2 sec delay, etc.)
C2: is set up for people shooting (Tracking, Eye-AF, etc.)
C3: is set for shooting 16x9 format. I may use this when shooting adapted lenses that may slightly vigentte
C4: is set for capturing Lightning and my lightning trigger (MIOPS)
C5: is set for long exposures using my MIOPS trigger
C6: is set for shooting in XPan mode

This is the way I've setup my camera today. I've made some mods along the way and probably will again in the future. But this gives you an idea of how I like to shoot.

Not my cars . . . I wish. I have a neighbor who has about a dozen cars on his property, most of which I have never seen.
