Uniquely beautiful rendering with the Mitakon 65 f/1.4, Peter, a perfect complement to the "Roaring 20s" party aesthetic!

I picked up a Leica M to GFX adapter yesterday. Took the Zeiss Distagon 35/1.4 on a little walk. Wide open, there's a lot of vignette but sometimes I like it. Stopped down the vignette is somewhat tamed. Sometimes, I crop out the vignette and others I leave it in.

Bob these are fantastic!
I am having lots of trouble with the Fringer EF-GFX adapter with certain lenses.
I am not ready to blame the problem on the adapter yet but while 1 Canon EF lens works fine another sends the 100s ii into "convulsions." I haven't found the reason yet. If I remove the adapter and put my GF lenses on the 100s ii works fine..to an "operator error" point "fine".
Again just super compositions>
Glad it worked out!
Dan

This is with Fringer adapter EF-GFX..Canon 100mm ISf2.8 Macro.
While the images seem very stable, the camera was "chattering incesantly"! With/on my Canon 180mm Macrof3.5 lens, adapter and camera fine.

Yes there is some "haloing" of the anthers in #2. Not sure it was more to my pp than the actual file conversion from raw to tiff to jpg.
Go figure?
Dan

Excellent work while overcoming the adversity of a chattering adaptor, Dan, the halo shimmer in the second petals is an interesting and unique effect!

"chattering incesantly" is not the adapter, but the camera. Change to a GF lens and look from the front of the lens, you will see the same behavior when the light changes. However, native lenses are quieter while EF lenses are noisier. To avoid it, you may use M mode instead of aperture priority.

Oh I know it is not the adapter as stated above.
Thanks!
