I only shoot raw in any format. The menus, the settings and their functions are very plentiful and making sure I do not have 1 selected that is interfering with another seems to be an issue at this time.

Switch off all unnecessary functions and use just one,simple and straightforward,like aperture priority.Use/set/search any other functions only when you feel they are absolutely necessary.

Bob, this is sure a pleasant composition! The clouds are just super! The man's head is touching them...I will mention a song lyric for images like this..."scuse me while I kiss the sky..." Jimi Hendrix..
He is a bulky man and really adds to the view. Your eye just follows the path into the image!

Thanks Dan. That's a photographer friend of mine and we traveled together to spend a couple of days in the Badlands. So, yes, that's a camera with strap in his hands.

Plans can take unexpected turns. My GFX starter kit plan was 100S II, 20-35,55/1.7,120 macro. My sales rep and I have a longtime relationship. We were in the final stages of ordering a 100S II and a 55. My sales rep informed me of an opportunity I should look at on some near mint gear. Although not the gear I was planning for I put in a very low offer which I didn't expect the seller would consider.
My starter kit became 100 MKII, 500 5.6 and 1.4x TC.
Further my sales rep negotiated a price of $1000 less than the offer I made.
