My most favorite of any creature! A smile came on a very stressful morning!!
Thanks!
Dan..Thanks Daisy!!
Thanks Dan,
Daisy is a very sweet and gentle girl, even by Labrador standards. I like this shot as her personality seem to come through, at least to me. I'm also loving this adapted Contax, its beautifully not perfect. Slow and noisy AF with many more throw away shots than a native GF. But it has a nice warmth and great transitions to OOF.

I don't believe I have ever met a lab I didn't love! Our "children" were American cocker spaniels. There has been so much "in breeding" that their life span is 10 years if you are lucky.
They filled my heart with love I have not ever experienced in ANY creature but my wife. They are eyes into the human soul!

I made this image in January 2025, and it was sitting on my PC never finished, GFX 100S 35-70 lens 69mm f11 ISO 400. Sky replaced from another image, geese added.

I didn't really have the best setting for this image (a 2-image composite and way under exposed) but managed to salvage it in LR and PS. It was a wicked storm with tornado warnings. Fortunately, none were close to us.

GFX 100S II + GF 32-64/4
Hard to imagine this is the same scene as your peaceful sunsets, Bob, the storm chaos and captured lightning strikes are spectacular with the purple tornado clouds. Glad you and family were safe, impressive work.

It was a crazy night. Tornado sirens were blaring and one was only a couple of miles away.
