Boy would I LOVE to have those signs Bob! Do you watch "American Pickers" on PBS?
Great compositions!

I don't watch but perhaps I need to check it out. This is what is so enticing to visit these small towns throughout the state. Never know what might be found.

These New York street compositions capture the vibrant life of the city, Marcus, colors and bokeh falloff really highlight your subjects. Curious on your setup and lens(es) as your profile maybe included adapted lenses you're using on the gfx? They work well, whatever combination you used!

Cheers,

Fascinating effect with the background bottles that compliment the main subject bottles, Bernard, I'm really curious how you achieved the blurred effect. Maybe a smoke machine for highlight with side lighting, intentional camera movement ICM for blur, or is it possibly all achived in post? Your technique really works well and I hope it was a successful campaign!

If it's the stuff on this page most of it's the 100S with the 250F4, with two shots being the 110F2.

Thanks! Here's a couple from Waterville, MN
While this project is just beginning, the idea is to photograph small towns throughout Minnesota.

This is good to know. On the 100S the 250 will randomly just detach from the subject and slowly focus on what's in back. The 110 I have does not do this. Maybe it's a FW thing on the lens, but it really has me looking at the second gen cameras now. Creative Edge wrote:
I never tried it with the 100s but all of the lenses I have tried, even adapted lenses seem to AF better with the 100sII

the reason I went to the 2nd generation camera, is for the AF and the overall speed of the camera, even when reviewing photos.
