Thanks, Michael, and absolutely love when everyone shares their work! This charging bear shot is amazing, and I hope the lens was long enough that it felt safe to capture! I grew up in Hawai'i and loved my time there, but am really really enjoying working remotely from Alaska. The 500 isn't for everyone, I doubt I would get it if I were still in Hawai'i unless I shot mainly surfers from shore, but the sheer number, accessibility and size of the big (slow) animals here in Alaska is awe-inspiring and I think perfect for the slower GFX system for wildlife (I'm contemplating adding a pure-wildlife system with super-telephoto/TC's, but still weighing opportunity cost, especially with pre-Capture as GFX will never affordably add a stacked-MF sensor). Really glad you enjoy it here as well!
Here are a few "story telling" shots exploration crops from yesterday, something perhaps unique with the 102mpx GFX, 500, 1.4x combo:

Was breezy on and off all day, made it a little challenging.
Beautiful long exposures, Tim, well executed with the challenging breeze to create your vision of these dreamy waterfall landscapes!
Nicely done. You continue to inspire me that the 100S II can do wildlife and BIF. I'm sure it's not at the level of the Sony A1 but it might be good enough for my needs.

If you need air in your tires, you must pay! And that is if they even offer an air pump. I have not seen this type of air pump in many, MANY years!
The red windows are great!!
Super Bob!
