A few quick shots today after the MPB 45mm F/2.8 trade in came in the mail. First time trading at MPB and this lens came in LN condition. A really sweet deal for a lens in its original packaging. Let's see how it goes on since I normally shoot 50ish focal length.

A couple more, wanted to take the 50R and 45mm on a hike with the dogs to test the weight. Didnt mind it at all. Looking forward to more hikes with this setup.

I typically use the AF capabilities of the GF120 when I want to focus stack, but I was out for a walk yesterday with my GFX-100S and Contax 645 APO Makro 4/120 and decided to give it a try. My approach was very rudimentary and unscientific - pick near and far points and take a semi-educated guess at how many shots might be required to stack nicely at f/11. Subjects and compositions aren't too exciting, and I see some room for improvement, but overall I'm pretty happy with the results.

With Hurricane Milton quickly approaching Central Florida, the family and I decided to to leave and use the time away as a quick vacation. We loaded up the RV and headed to Savannah GA for 4 days. We were blessed with minimal damage to our home and had a great time in Savannah. I only took 2 lenses to Savannah, the Canon 16-35 2.8 III and the TSE 17mm. My only regret is not taking the tripod with me as that is my preferred way of shooting. This was my first real outing with the 100sII and really like the improvements over the 100s. I find the af to be a bit better and image review is much quicker. Overall I find it to be more responsive than the 100s.
