It's Ili Kazakh area in XinJiang, China, known for its grasslands and lakes.

Photo#2 was taken in a village in the mountains. I guess those housings are budget cabins for tourists, since Local herders stay in Kazakh yurts.

p.106 #2 · Fuji GFX Image Thread - all cameras and lenses

Took the GFX100S out for a bit of light astrophotography earlier this week before the moon gets too big. I was testing my new Sigma 14mm F1.8A and Nikon 20mm F1.8G lenses that night, but for now here is an untracked shot of the Galactic Center taken with the GF20-35 @ F4.

I probably should have capped the exposure at 20s but with F4 light is already at such a premium...
