p.101 #4 · Fuji GFX Image Thread - all cameras and lenses
Two days ago, I added a new lens to my GFX kit: GF500mm f/5.6
I bought it from Kitamura Camera in Naha, Okinawa Japan. It was surprisingly relatively inexpensive: 438,546 yen, tax-free.
The amount charged to my credit card was Canadian $3840.80. To put this into a perspective, the cost of this lens in Canada is CAD $4724 + 13% tax = CAD $5,338.12.
438,546 yen is about USD 2,740. At B&H, this lens costs USD 3,999.
Naturally, I have been using the new lens in the last two days, although it has been raining heavily in Okinawa. This year, the rainy season seems to be longer than usual.
Attached are a few photos taken in the small port Maeganeku. This port is mostly used by boats taking tourists to dive and snorkel.

Congrats on the new "weapon" to your aresenal! Looks to be a fine addition! I love #2 which accentuates the lens rendering.
Nice work, nice lens!
