A visit to Magee to check on Warblers, a few in but not yet a flood of them. Just a mix of a few images from a short visit there as I left with only one battery
C&C always encouraged and welcomed ...thanks for the visit!

Excellent work with the tiny birds that don't stand still. The wobblers have arrived in numbers and I had a blast photographing them. Your titles have saved me the effort of looking up what I photographed :-} 2 and 4 are my picks from this quality set. I'm also a fan of the first hard shelled wobbler photo.
Because I'm a fan of the wildlife, I sometimes find it hard to choose between my photographic favorite's and my species favorites... but I'll try... I know its not as colorful as the others but I love the textures and patterns on the first wren... the yellow warbler is a feast for the eye's in bright yellow, and the painted turtles are framed just right. Wonderful set Karl!
Those are nice Karl, we are off to Pelee Natl park tomorrow for the bird migration on this side of the Lake. It seems the birds are starting to come through.

I'll second that !! I have been there, sometimes with you. It's not easy at all, these little birds are constantly on the move obscured by foliage. To say it's challenging is probably an understatement. My favorite from this group (surprisingly) is the wren.
Great job Karl.

Thanks Eric The Wren was not what I thought might take the show for me for the day but the setting worked out to be just right for the subject. I find this bird very attractive in pattern and the rich coloring, the BG was helpful to complete the image IMO. The Yellow Warbler has such a pretty song and always is singing so they are easy to find whereas the other warblers are often quiet and you better have your eyes peeled or count on the crowd as 'pointers' to where the subject is seen.
Turtles, hard to pass them up, the painted are quite beautiful and they made up a nice comp for me to grab so I give them credit!
Thanks buddy
