This has to be one of my most FAVORITES of images! The lessons told here go waaayyy beyond what they teach in school. Being an Eagle Scout(1963), I instantly drew a connection to the boy! With my mothers Italian immigrant family( 1920's)-their history of WWII service and my father's Navy WWII service, I could instantly relate!
